1. Manny Pacquiao 2. Juan Manuel Marquez 3. Joe Calzaghe 4. Bernard Hopkins 5. Israel Vasquez 6. Rafael Marquez 7. Cristian Mijares 8. Antonio Margarito 9. Ivan Calderon 10. Miguel Cotto If i had to choose my number 11, it would be Kelly Pavlik. Agree? Disagree? What does your list look like?:bbb
Pavlik at 11? :rofl I have a problem with that, Pavlik should be nowhere near the top 15, im an official Hatton hater but how can be below Pavlik when he only lost to the P4P #1?
very good point, and i agree....for shits sake he only beat taylor...but the rest of the list looks good to me
1. Pac 2. Calzaghe 3. JMM 4. Hopkins 5. Vasquez 6. Margarito 7. Mijares 8. Calderon 9. Cotto 10. R. Marquez
1. Pacquiao 2. Marquez 3. Calzaghe 4. Hopkins 5. Vasquez 6. Margarito 7. Christian Mijares 8. Miguel Cotto 9. Rafael Marquez 10. Ricky Hatton
1] Manny Pacquiao 2] Joe Calzaghe 3] Juan Manuel Marquez 4] Israel Vazquez 5] Antonio Margarito 6] Miguel Cotto 7] Bernard Hopkins 8] Ivan Calderon 9] Rafa Marquez 10] Ricky Hatton Mijares is up there and so is Williams for me
Nothing at all wrong with this list, though i would tend to have Mijares above Marquez at this time. Cotto is not currently in my ten but just outside. Couple of questions, where do guys rate the following fighters, approx or exact: Wladimir Klitschko David Haye Paul Williams?
I'm sorry Joe Calzaghe... but you are out as #3 for the moment. #1 Juan Manuel Marquez #2 Bernard Hopkins #3 Manny Pacquiao #4 Joe Calzaghe It is subjective, isn't it? It's pretty interesting that I was close to name Joe #1 as JMM vs. PacMan was waaay to close (my card 115-112 for JMM), but the Casamayor KO victory completely outshined the close Hopkins fight and the David Diaz mismatch (DD was the worst champion as he was awarded the title twice). So JMM became #1, PacMan #2 (based on the loss to JMM on my card) Now at the beginning of the year I had Hopkins at #2 because he beat Tarver and then #2 Winky before Joe. Calzaghe claimed the #2 spot by beating Hopkins (115-112 on my card) but then came JMM-Casamayor which f*cked up everything. I didn't feel PacMan should be#1 anymore because he lost on my card. And JMM beat a legitimate lineal world champion who has never been stopped. Now Hopkins f*cked it up again. He put on a so dominating performance, that he clearly surpasses Calzaghe and Pacquiao (please just think about both resume and the dominance in given QUALITY fights), but because the Joe loss, he can't pass JMM. --> #2 It's just a list, don't jump on me.
It just shows how badly people analyze fighters on occasion. Pavlik was a lock for top 10, suddenly he is nowhere to be seen. He never was a top 10 fighter.
