The general concensus is that he should be the #1, despite many feeling he lost to JMM twice. Easy choice.

I think he's behind JMM at this moment in time, though I wouldn't have a big problem with anyone ranking him at #2.

Way too high. Just goes to show how over-rated this guy is at the moment. He shouldn't rank any higher than #7 at the very most. Taylor was waiting to get exposed, and was done previously really by Winky and Hopkins, and Miranda is nothing more than a gatekeeper.

Same with Pavlik. Very over-rated at the moment. The guy hasn't really proven anything, a good win over Margarito, but he came close to letting it slip, apart from that, nothing. Doesn't even make my top 10.

Again, far too high. Beat Cotto, but taking into account the size difference and the styles, it isn't good enough to shoot him to #5 when he wasn't previously in the top 10.

Like I said, I think he's the #2, he definately has to be in the top 3. Putting him at #6 is a very poor choice. Many felt he beat Pac twice. A superbly skilled fighter with an improving resume.

Shouldn't make the top 10. He's not even really dominating at heavy, I mean it's a weak division anyway and his performances have been lacklustre. Doesn't make my top 15, shouldn't make the top 10. Definately not 7.

I'm a huge fan of the guy, but considering he has lost what 3 of his last 5 fights, rightly or wrongly, he shouldn't be higher than 10. He does scrape my top 10 though. And I think he will beat Pavlik.

No huge problems with him ranking in the top 10 as he's powerful, quick and skilled and unified at cruiser, although it was a weak division. Doesn't make my top 10 however.

Based on skills, yes. But his resume is very, very lacking. And it's his fought, he's pulled out of fights with Campbell, Arthur, Harrison etc. Shouldn't make the top 10 at this moment in time.

well.. see.. thats a matter of opinion.. besides the fact that either way it wasnt a robbery.. still a close fight.. not to mention has beaten marquez...barrera.. and morales.. say what you will make excuses about them being old whatever excuses you want to make still an impressive accomplishment.. pacquiao is a one of a kind fighter.. better believe it.

I wouldnt find a problem placing Marquez over him due to the fact that Marquez has beaten very good fighters and is very good. but Calzaghe then again is undefeated and has been champ for so long and has never been tested too much in his career.. but wouldnt argue with Marquez ahead either.

Taylor was ready to get exposed is a matter of opinion.. and is really only trying to downplay Pavliks accomplishment is honestly what your doing by saying that. and going by FACTS.. TAYLOR STILL BEAT WINKY AND HOPS 2 p4p fighters.. stop making excuses why Pavlik should be lower and start giving TAYLOR SOME CREDIT!..

ALL I SEE HERE IS ATTEMPTS TO BELITTE TAYLOR AND PAVLIK.. WHY THE DISLIKE?!?

HE CLEARLY!.. I REPEAT CLEARLY.. beat Margo.. HE OUTWORKED HIM FOR THE WIN! FACE THE FACTS..

PW is a one of a kind fighter with his body type there has never been a welterweight like him before.. not to mention imo hes tough and isnt scared of being hit.. he will still keep coming.. as has been shown in quintana 1 and in margarito fights.

INTO ACCOUNT THE SIZE DIFFERENCE AND THE STYLES?? YEAH THATS WHAT BOXING IS ABOUT SOMETIMES IS SIZE DIFFERENCE AND STYLES.. WHAT MATTERS IS IF A FIGHTER HAS THE ABILITY TO OVERCOME THESE SETBACKS! BOXING IS ABOUT SETBACKS DEAL WITH IT! wtf r u on about? Totally trying to belittle accomplishments once again as your doing in every ****in post here. give some appreciation for how difficult it is to get the victory the w and quit making excuses..

I agree.. I fixed my list around...

not really dominating at heavy despite being the #1 ranked heavyweight in the world right? a weak division anyway <-- ONCE AGAIN WITH THE EXCUSES.. i agree its lacklustre but POINT.. IS.. HE.. WINS.. thats what its about.. This isnt an excitement rank.. this is a what fighter wins more rank

So you talk about losing his 3 of his last fights righttly or wrongly but yet in previous posts here you speak about how people think a fighter should have lost a fight.. quit being so biased and choosing sides and start facing facts instead..

    Ok.

he beat Humberto Soto.. clearly dominated no trouble whatsoever. Beat Jorge Barrios in a close fight imo.. Barrios troubled Guzman.. but I think Guzman is very good and has the mental makeup once he is in that ring that very few fighters possess. he has NATURAL TALENT in that ring

He beat Humberto Soto who is a more patient fighter who is less crude as Arce. not to mention what has Arce done since that loss ?.. anybody hear about him anymore?.. Not to downplay Arce I think hes a helluva fighter has always been a favorite fighter of mine to watch. I loved his fight with Hussein Hussein one of the best fights ive ever seen live. But he reminds me of a flyweight Antonio Margarito...

oh ya also beat Jorge Barrios although it was a close fight still pulled the W
