    Pavlik is NOT undisputed champ.
The IBF Champ and WBA champ both dispute it. :deal

Whether they would beat him or not in mine or your opinion is not important. they are both Champs, they both dispute the claim that Pavlik is the best. Undisputed means there are no other champs around to dispute it.

Pavlik is the UNIFIED Champ of the WBC/WBO. And it's not like he unified the titles himself, he won them both with one victory. That's different than beating 2 champs to unify their titles.

To me undisputed would mean that they beat the man who was THE champion and hopkins was the man..taylor beat him...then pavlik beat him...
belts are overrated. does anyone know who the ibf super featherweight champ is without looking it up?

With Marquez coming down on my list, it brought up JC Pavlik and Cotto :good ;)

You've sort of contradicted yourself by having Hopkins high based on durability and past accomplishments, whereas for some bizarre reason Kelly Pavlik is ranked above Joe Calzaghe after 1 decent win

Using your own criteria Pavlik has not accomplished more. Joe is unbeaten for 17 years, and has bossed the division for the best part of a decade. Kelly Pavlik has one good win

As for durability there are far more boxers capable of beating Kelly Pavlik than Joe Calzaghe based on recent performances. Pavlik has demonstrated defensive flaws, was very nearly knocked out in 2, whereas Joe's recent performances have been masterclasses

    I hope this helps

Currently...Perhaps Top 8. I dont rank too highly after a loss. Winkys a perennial p4p fighter. He was p4p if you forget at the time he fought Hopkins...

And Tarver, no doubt he was #1 he was the champion...
Trinidad at the time hopkins beat him was 1 of the TOP p4p fighters in the world not to mention an ALL TIME GREAT.

Kessler was #1, but so was Taylor except he was also undisputed champion...and Miranda was considered the next one that would challenge Taylor at the time he was considered the #1 contender..

I rank Hopkins high because of his last 2 big wins, people forget at the time they were pretty big wins, Winky was a p4p and tarver was undisputed...

well....both are undisputed undefeated champions... no doubt kessler was #1...he wasnt undisputed though at the time...taylor was the undisputed MW champ and and he also beat miranda, both with knockouts. Sorry but who else did Cal beat besides Kessler and Lacy?... I hold Taylor and Miranda in higher regard than Kessler and Lacy... and yes hes bossed the division but against who of note?...

I disagree...I think pavlik is tough and too determined to lose at this point of his undefeated career..I would pick cal against him but based on quality of opposition as noted above, I rank Pav higher. and yes he was but that was against taylor...taylors a big puncher..nothing wrong with that...
