Had a little free time so I decided to re watch this fight and i must say the first time i saw this fight I thought Pac won but really looking at it I think Tim doesn't get enough credit it seems like Manny was trying to coast throughout the rounds and the commentators would give it to him based off of 2 or 3 punches in the last 30 seconds while most of the actual work was done by Bradley. I also notice that punch stats would count blows that didn't land for example at one point in I think rd 5 Manny threw a flurry and punch stats said he landed 20 blows but upon further review he only landed maybe 1 or 2 shots, I maybe wrong but scoring is based on defense, effective aggression, ring generalship, if that's the case then I'd have to agree with the official decision don't get me wrong I found the fight VERY close had at the end had it 7 to 4 with one swing rd (rd 2) if I give pac that rd then it still equates to the 2 point margin of victory held by Bradley thoughts
I keep going back and forth on this one, the thing is Bradley put in more work and always hussled, but his punches seemed like pitty pat shots. That's why it's hard to really say he won certain rounds. But Pacquiao really didn't whoop his ass like some people say he did. But Tim really didn't do enough neither, he got lazy at times and pac was also landiong good body shots and straight lefts, his punches definitely ahd more effect and were cleaner. Haven't really sat down to score the fight though. might do it tonight.
It was a straight robbery. Manny wasnt devoid of blame though, could and should have stopped it. I wasnt impressed with Bradleys performance at all.
Well, unfortunately you are wrong. Scoring is first and foremost based on clean, effective punching. The other factors then come in to play after this.
My analysis: This content is protected This content is protected Pacquiao deserved to score extra points everytime he landed that left hand. why? - because Bradley kept yapping on about how it's Pac's best hand and he was going to neutralise it... lol
that is the point. pac wobbled bradley. even if stats aren't 100 % correct, how can you lose a fight when you land more, when you hurt and don't get hurt by your opponent? bradley gets credit for being a good boxer, but he ultimatly doesn't hit hard, is to small and is simply not skilled enough to be what he wanted to be, what he thought he was: a world class fighter on the same page of pacquiao, mayweather or hopkins.
I'll bet you won't find many shots or vids of timmy landing clear on pacquiao :yep pacquiao won, end of the story.
