Thanks dude good read:good I think you are right about everything accept one thing you missed was that there is still one opponent that would make an interesting match up.....Sergio Martinez. He's the only person around Ward that you could honestly make an arguement that he has more talent the Ward. Also based on his 30 day prefight wieghin wieght it would seem that the weight issue isn't as much of an issue as some might make it out to be. Only problem is that SOGs is a terrible styles match up for sergio so I don't see DiBella wanting to make that fight with bigger money fights in the weight classes below Sergio.

Fair point on Sergio! It never even occurred to me to look south.

    Thanks.

I still cannot believe how easy Andre made it look against someone of Chad's caliber.

Huge Ward fan here and he's a future ATG imo, but i simply can't give him any credit for last nights win.

Should have happened at 175 or not at all.

Agreed it should have happened at 175, but Ward still deserves credit for a near flawless effort.

Agreed he still had a job to do and he did it, his inside game was spectacular.

I rate Ward highly but 'someone of Chad's calibre'....especially the emaciated version we saw last night? I think Froch is pretty ****ing awful and hugely flawed but he would have destroyed Chad last night.

I do pity Ward as there is little competition around at the moment but I fail to see how this win elevates him to the higher echelons of the sport as most on here are claiming.

Agree with this. Not taking the fight at 175 is gonna come back and bite Ward on ass
