My Pound-For-Pound List after UFC 136...

Lyoto is becoming the forgotten man very quickly. The KO loss to Rua which to me is an aberration has put an unfair blemish on his career. Besides that loss, the mans standard and competition is elite.

 

Sonnen deserves to be there and I wouldnt have a problem with him ahead of Hendo.

Unless you are the very elite (Silva), chances are Chael would manhandle you and put a beating. Hes predictable that way, you can make lots of money betting on him.

Lets realize what he just did. He just killed Stanns momentum after a long layoff. Stanns been riding high, feeling good and he should be with a few big wins (maybe a rising star). Chael came in there, took his star and stomped it like another day at the office.

 

Do you think Cruz beat Faber more handily than Aldo? The last two rounds of the Cruz/Faber fight were actually close due to Cruz's stamina running out (he looked marvelous in the first 3, though). Faber didn't win a round against Aldo.

Not that it matters much when taking into account recent performances for pound for pound ratings, though.

I think you have Cain too high. It's debatable whether his record is as good as JDS' when you consider the shape Brock was in when they fought. The rest is good though. I'd have

I agree with this and had to deliberate on who ranked above who P4P from Cruz and Aldo , and based on the destructive manner Aldo has eliminated the field in his weight class , i went with Aldo by a rats knacker

Stann isnt exactly what you'd call the elite of the sport now is he ??? , like alot of the MW division he's average

Sonnen put a beating down on Anderson then failed a drugs test , i know he vehemently denies any wrong doing , but like Sean Sherk there's always that doubt until he goes on there and proves it was no fluke , a quick sub over Stann doesnt really provide over whelming evidence

Chael Sonnen seems to be putting his game together nicely and seems to of found a style and skill set to produce over whelming dominant performances , but he's very beatable , look at his record ..................

Silva Sonnen 2 , is gonna be very very interesting :think

Only reason JDS is on 7 and not Cain is cuz JDS has fought better competition thus far

 

Penn hasn't done jack since losing his title to warrant making a top 20 P4P list, much less 10. I really don't understand the logic behind that one.

A draw doesn't suddenly raise your standing, especially when he didn't deserve the draw. A KO over old Hughes doesn't do anything either.
