I think it is gonna be a early war with both fighters trading shots but Cotto is sit back and time Margo coming in and finish him off in the 9th. I think Cotto will punish Margo's body which make the KO easier.

    Cheers

Have a good night of fights.

Ps. On the MMA side of things Lawler 2 round KO!

Call it fence-sitting if you want, but I have two end scenarios in my head:

    Cotto UD

    or

    Margarito late stoppage

I'm leaning more towards my Cotto UD pick (55-45) but wouldn't discount the Margarito late stoppage.

I think Cotto will put on a masterclass and win a comfortable UD.After a few scary minutes in the early going Cotto will take over and dominate Margarito before taking the foot of the pedal and coasting to victory.
    117-111

    Hope so:good

Its better for the sport....and better for my vcash (stuck it all on Cotto - what can I say, had a good feeling about it at the time. Not so confident recently).

Margarito is gonna beat Cotto up and knock him out late.

    Margarito TKO 10

Cotto seems to have really refined his boxing skills and that will be the factor tonight!

    You got the wrong fighter.

Cotto has never sat back and timed **** in his ****ing life, least of all someone like Margarito.

There are a couple of things I've been thinking about in regard to this fight:

    (1) Cotto likes to take time off in fights (breathers), and I don't think Margarito will let him have them. Ndou, a much more limited fighter at LWW did not allow Cotto time off, and he made his fight with Cotto a lot closer on the scorecards than it should conceivably have been, due to the fact that he took over a lot of the middle and later rounds.

    (2) Despite his obvious deficiences I see Cintron as a harder one-punch guy at WW than Cotto, and yet he couldn't put a dent in Margarito (he caught him plenty of times and not one little stagger or sign of obvious distress). However, accumulation may aid Cotto more in this area. Still, I can't see Cotto stoping Margo.

Good points. Cintron, BTW, was ranked as the 6th hardest puncher in the top 10 of the entire sport P4P by The Ring magazine earlier this year. Cotto wasn't even on the list. I agree with your assessment.

No worries, a couple of low blows in the first couple of rounds will set up the knock out for the 11th. Oh, sorry must be thinking of a different fight...LOL
