I don’t think Fury and Usyk ever fight after today’s news. Fury will fight A.J. twice and retire, win or lose. It’s both a more lucrative and more winnable match-up than Usyk. I’ve thought for some time Hearn was angling for Fury. Why else would you match A.J. with Wallin and then Ngannou, which was originally supposed to be Wilder?
I don't think Usyk will ever be undisputed champion. He needs to fight all the mandatories to get to WBC belt.
AJ ain't winnable fight for Fury. You will understand what i'm saying after AJ finish Ngannou for good. AJ is going to be 100x time better version than Ngannou. At least against Usyk, Fury can try to be as dirty as possible, and with his big promoter they can crock the referee and the judges to somehow Fury try to get a win. He can also always hope that Usyk feet is already on the heavy decline, as Usyk is 37 years old. AJ is in his prime still, and it's still 34 years old. Fury can't clinch and hold on AJ, and the referee won't be biased, same for the judges. Fury chances of winning against AJ is negative. They were the same against Usyk, that's why he is trying to age him out as much as he can. I hope Usyk pulls the plug of this clown fiesta and just retire, and leave that clown to AJ, who will finish him for good.
I can see Usyk fighting whoever in Saudi and then retiring. He's trained for a fight. He's put in the work. He'll want to see himself and his team paid. Then, I think he'll retire.
Yeah the Undisputed is done for. They will prolly strip him or force him into mandatories. IBF, then WBO, etc, etc.
He's been saying that the undisputed thing was his motivation. I can't see him fighting through all the shenanigans the various alphabet organizations are going to throw at him. He's an older fighter now. I can't see him wanting to go through it as he will probably just get strung along.
