I first thought that Green would fade early and get outboxed. Now I am not so certain. Green had a stellar camp and sparred some of the best super middleweights a light heavies around. I think this will be a very competetive fight with whoever has the best stamina pulling out the win. I still lean toward Ward but I am rooting for Green.
I think Ward will get his chin checked a time or two. If it passes the test, he should win a comfortable UD. An even bigger question revolves around who the ref is, and how he handles Ward's tactics. The better the ref, the better Green's chances are.
id like to know what u guys fink who is the top man out of the smw and lhw divisions. apart from lucian bute
what are ward's tactics? this is the first i hear of this. i've watched him, but other than high shorts i didnt notice much...
Seeing as everybody is 1-1 so far but home guy always wins so the odds may be strange for the superstitions. Second I think he is a ***** for not leaving his safe haven in Oakland
Heart says Green KO. Mind says Ward UD. Tbh this really is a pick'em fight, and thats what makes the Super Six great.
I honestly think Ward is going to take this one, but I would like Green to win. It's not that I don't like Ward, but it would definitely make this tournament more interesting.
Ward is going to give Green the business, he's much too savvy for Green. Green is a bit of a front runner in that once he realizes that his power doesn't effect Ward he'll go into a shell and shutdown. Ward by wide UD will be my pick.
Ward will stop him via late rd TKO. Allen Green was beaten by ****ing miranda on the cards by a wide decision. There is NO way green beats ward unless he lands the lucky left hook (which he has an excellent punch)
