    I don't think he won the bout, and he was very, very negative. But he did show some very good speed and seemed very elusive for the majority of the bout. The previous bouts I had seen him in he did not impress me at all.
    I guess it was because I wasn't expecting it from him that it surprised me.

    He won the boxing (hit and don't be hit) match but didn't win the mental match which froch had won. If you looked at the press conference right before the fight, Froch was setting the table saying dirrell would run and all other idiotic (stating the obvious) stuff. So people were looking for that instead of froch's head being snapped back. People wanna see a fight and thier love of action is above certain scoring criteria. That is the only reason froch won. Some judges are just as bias as fans because they are humans too.
