The age of the judges are another topic. It still doesn't change the fact that your idea doesn't work.

There is a simple solution to old judges.... hire younger judges.. not use an electronic system designed to deter bad judging but does NOTHING to actually deter bad judging.

You needed to emphasize the highlighted and elaborate further.....as the thread starter TT is unaware that what he's proposing, is actually how the current scoring system works.........

Currently three judges judge each fight......
.....at the end of each and every round, they write there score of that round on a card, and then that card is collected by an appointee from the governing body at the end of each and every round.....

In other words, at the end of each round, a judge writes down his score for that round on a card, and then somebody else collects it from him.........and on to the next round with a blank card to score for that round.
Basically a judge does'nt have a scoresheet of how he scored the previous rounds in front of him, which is what the thread starter was proposing that the judges be kept away from.......

......the judges are already prevented from having on paper a log of how he scored the previous rounds TT......
.....but when you think about it.....how tough can it be to memorize how many rounds you've given one fighter or the other........

.....for crying out loud, these baffoon judges could find different ways to keep track on how many rounds they've given each fighter without having a piece of paper for reference......a particular pen mark in their own hand could remind them how many rounds he's had for fighter A and how many for B.....

If a judge wants to be dishonest, there is basicallly nothing to really stop him.......

....in any regards, what you're proposing TT, is how they do it today, only without computers......cards are turned in at the end of every round.
