I agree and I watch those 2 fights probably every other month. I also have Lopez-Ayala, that was a GREAT fight!
Now that you mention it, a Cotto TKO victory is not out of the question, I just feel it's less likely than a Margarito TKO or KO victory over Miguel.
Lopez/Ayala was an amazing fight. One of those where you think somebody is going down any second because they just can't do this for 15 rounds, but they almost did! Haven't seen it in years. At he stoppage one judge had Danny ahead, one judge had Ayala ahead, and one judge was some blind guy! Ring Magazine fight of the year in 1979, and a candidate for fight of the decade! One I will never forget!
Hey Boo, the sweet science website has a nice piece on Little Red today. One of those "Where are they now" articles. Go check it out!
Interesting commonet from danny about moving up in weight: Arguello moved to 135. What was Bobby Chacon doing around that time? Without those two to contend with I think Danny may have done well at 130. It's quite interesting to see him refer to moving up, because I've oten wondered about it myself.
I just looked up some info. Had Danny moved to 130 after the sanchez fights, or skipped sanchez and moved up, he would have had Chacon, Boza-Edwards, and Limon to deal with. In other words; Life During WAR TIME!!!
