By pressure.... you mean Sanders backpedaling with his back along the ropes until Wlad got lazy and Sanders came leaping off with his huge trademark left hand? Sanders wasn't pressuring Wlad AT ALL, until Wlad was stunned by that punch... which lead to Wlad having no idea what to do when buzzed... and Sanders teeing off at him from there on out.

There you go mentioning the Peter-Wlad fight again!:rofl ****in' amazing man. GET OVER IT!!!:rofl

:lol::lol: If Haye fights like Peter or Brewster, he will end up in a coma. Or did you forget the amount of punishment those two received before they even came close to touching Wlad's chin?

If Ruiz was that successful with the jab, he wouldn't have stopped using it. He didn't land that many successful jabs. The jab can be taken away by using movement, angles, and counters. Take the jab away from Wlad, and he won't have an offense. Take also into account that Wlad can be hit by straight rights and hooks. I think Haye has the tools to get to Wlad, but we'll see.

Wladimir is nothing special, just has the size to pull that basic 1+2 off. His opponents haven't brought anything to the table recently either. Haye has more dimensions than him.

First of all, did you even watch the fight? Secondly, if he couldn't neutralize Ruiz's slow jab, what makes you think he could take away Wlad's?

Don't bother. This guy is repeatedly saying that Wlad is easy to hit with right hands as well.

So Riuz jabbed the **** out Haye according to you. I already said how he could neutralize the jab. Movement and countering.

Man is Wlad's jab been underrated here! Yes a jab is the most basic punch in the book and its not exactly gona set the worlds imagination on fire but its the first punch you get taught because it CAN be, when used as effectively as Wlad uses it, the most important punch to master. Wlad can beat people with just that one punch over and over again, IMO its an ATG jab!

With that said the reason why Wlad likes to control the fight with the jab seems to be his unwillingness to engage and risk taking any shots, fair enough, fight to your strengths and if your chins questionable dont risk getting caught! IMO Haye has a good chance of slipping the jab and getting some good shots in, and if he does I can see Wlad going into a shell, stop getting enough punches off, getting caught more and stopped!

However, I see it more likely that the jab hits home half a dozen times on Haye, he realises that he dont want any of that and will go into more like he fought Valuev, trying to pot shot without getting caught. And he aint beating Wlad like that for ****!

Its definatly a fight I want to see, and dont see why people are so sure that Haye cant win, I mean a guy with a great KO ratio (yes most at CW but still...) against someone who has a questionable chin. If anyones so sure of it then if and when the fights made go and put all your money on it, if not then STFU, admit untill it happens we dont know for sure how it will play out and just be happy for someone to be putting a bit of a buzz back in the HW division!

One thing I dont understand is all the hate for these guys, at the moment the klits are the best of a bad bunch but they beat who's put in front of them, no-one can do more than that. There not the most charasmatic but just cause they dont run there mouth and have some class dont mean what they do in the ring isn't sweet science! Haye's may come across as the exact opposite but the man sells tickets, and seems, when not promoting to be a nice guys also. He's got more skill than get credit for in the ring also. I enjoy the different personalities and styles, in and out of the ring, if everyone was the same it'd be ****. Hate breeds hate I guess but im just happy for some interesting times ahead!

    Peace

You guys are comparing valuev and ruiz to what a fight against the klits would be like. valuev ruiz and barrett couldnt carry either of the klits jock straps. i hope haye mans up and fights one of them or i will always see him as a pretender at HW

Haye only engaged in the fight once he realised Ruiz punches like a granny. Seriously, how can a man be a professional boxer, and ex 2 time champ when he literally can barely throw a punch?? I was astounded.

Wladimir makes his opponents to brought nothing to the table! That´s the point.

    Wladimir by KO.

Taylor, you have a point. Haye can blitz anyone and Wlad was blitzed by Sanders and TKO'd. But at age 34, after so many fights, don't you think Wlad knows this all too well? Don't you think he will be the one to attack early? If Wlad lands just one good punch, David will be going to sleep early that night.

and yet he did not knock him out cold. It was stopped by the referee. And Brewster had a very small part in his victory.
And what did Peter managed to do? pushing him down to canvas 3 times? Not really impressive.
