Wouldn't you rather see Dawson / Calzaghe? Don't you think that fight makes more sense?

Good point but I think Calzaghe will fight Pavlik before he faces the young gun in Dawson. Either way I see Slappy getting ko'd. :thumbsup

If you're trying to make a name for yourself, why not use a different avatar? I understand that it is all about self-expression, but the avatar you have now might turn some people off to your boxing insight. Some people might find it to be offensive.

Why not pick an avatar that says something about your character or boxing intellect?

    Just a friendly suggestion.:good

What makes you say that? Do you see both fighters being too much for Calzaghe at this point in his career? If so, how will they do it?

I do believe Dawson and Pavlik will be too much for Calzaghe at this stage of his career. Dawson has great power and so does Pavlik. Kellys 1,2 not mention his underrated body attack will get the job done against Joe. Dawson I believe has the power and the work rate also to hurt Joe and stop him. Actually I see Dawson stopping Joe sooner than Pavlik.

What about the chin factor...Both Pavlik and Dawson have proven in previous fights that their chins could betray them...Calzaghe has proven to have a very good chin...do you think the chin could be a factor? I know Calzaghe isn't the same kind of puncher at 175, but he still has a very good knockout ratio...despite his nickname.

Neither Jones nor Hopkins will win. These are two of the easiest fights to pick in the history of boxing.

Joe has decent pop and does have a good chin however I dont think he can drop Pavlik or Dawson. Also he hasnt faced a volume puncher with great power like he would be getting if he faced Pavlik or Dawson. I have to factor in his last performance against Bernard too when he got dropped and won based on volume but we all know Pavlik and Dawson would outhustle Joe since they are the fresher younger fighters.

tisk tisk tisk, im realist !

i want rjj and bhop to win but the odds of them winning are very slim, i think bhop and rjj will both lose and maybe fight each other in there final fight.

if they win, they will fight each other with another option to fight chad after there fight, well the winner of course but that want happen either.

Exactly, Hopkins made it the hard way by unifying and defending all WBC/WBA/IBF/WBO titles then he started to get the big names he always wanted. So did Jones and many others.

The Middleweight division is still alive with a serious threat and challenger in Abraham to completely ignore and jump up for big fights this early. He's still in a win-win situation anyway, if he loses next his titles remain at Middleweight he can get the biggest fight there in Abraham, if he beats Hopkins then it's Calzaghe depending on how he wins.

Removed your ******ed attempt to look "funny and cool" with your "Nay Nay" rubbish.

Calzaghe is definitely a bigger fight but a more interesting match-up that could guarantee action based on styles is Abraham BY FAR. In terms of being bigger and possibly more money it's Calzaghe, which is why the public are crying for it. If people want to see action then a fight with Abraham is the one to pick.

I don't think B-hop is a very good indicator at all...I will remind you of this after the Pavlik fight this saturday night. I think Pavlik will prevail, but he won't look good doing it!!

You will see a much better Calzaghe performance against Jones...guaranteed!!

Maybe be. But if this were 10 years ago, Cal and Pav wouldn't have a snow ball's chance in hell;)
