When Pavlik makes people tired, he ends up putting them to sleep.

If AA hadn't 'got sick', then this fight would have been a safe bet. I think it would have been signed BEFORE Cal/Jones even stepped into the ring. Postponing the fight gave Arum a crack to see what happens in that fight.

I'm not a big fan of B-Hop, but I like watching him fight.

I think it's great how he still finds the motivation to train at such a old age for boxing, hopefully he'll hang em up soon though.

Team Pavlik and Top Rank may be trying to hedge their bets here. They could still be hoping for a Calzaghe fight, and therefore be unwilling to commit to Abraham. Mark my words; if Pavlik puts AA off in order to fight Calzaghe there will be a bunch of knuckleheads on here accusing KP of ducking Abraham. I do tend to agree that if KP fights two in a row above 160, he'll vacate his titles.

Yep. If AA hadn't 'gotten sick', this fight would have been signed before Jones/Cal even happened. Kelly still wants Joe "before he gets one day older". :deal This would be his last chance.

 Gotta luv those NOOBS!

About the thread's subject, I think Pavlik will beat B-Hop one way or another. Hopkins gets tired after the middle rounds and I can't see him avoid Pavlik's bombs for 12 rounds.

And I hope Roy pulls off the miracle against Cal:fighty, but I don't see it happening... may he turn back the clock one final time!

I'm definitely cheering for Hopkins and Jones in this. Set up a superfight rematch with two aging legends.

I think a rematch is more likely if they both lose.

Imo it is dangerous for both to fight at 160. I want to see the fight don't get me wrong, but if either man is at risk of making 160 and not feeling healthy at 160, I don't want to see the fight at 160. I'd rather them fight at a catch weight or 168.

I have to root for these guys. They are a part of my generation, and I just hope they don't get hurt.
