I know some of you are gonna hate me for this, but he could have picked JMM instead of David Diaz. Why in the blue hell did he pick that guy? Simple, he is a favorite to win against David Diaz because David had a hard time against Morales. Right now, Pac is avoiding the best fighters out there. If not JMM, he could have went for Joan Guzman or Juan Diaz. This is total bull**** seriously. Now the Philippine Newspapers are gonna say every single crap that every morning "Manny Pacquiao moves to a higher weight class which can be unchartered territory for him" The papers are going to make him look like an underdog in this fight. Oh believe me since he is in a higher weight class. And then my fellow countrymen would be in awe for making such a bold move. If only they know who he really is fighting:lol:

trans: "Maybe, this will the hardest fight of my career."
-pacquiao said this on a local TV advertisement on his rematch with barrera.

Its not hate but anger. I'll continue to watch his fights for sure, but if he continues to win against shot and washed up fighters, I will have my doubts.

I dont know maybe I need to watch more fights of David Diaz, I have seen two, one with Kendall Holt where he was dominated and lost by TKO and the other where he got a gift with old Morales.

actually he is not fighting shot fighters. don't believe others who will tell you that morales 1 and 2 and the barrera 2 are shot fighters. they are still good and dangerous and can give any other fighters not named pacquiao a hell of a fight and could still win.

but i'm with you that he should have picked marquez next.

Barrera was way past his prime in their rematch. The rubber match with Morales, he was also past his prime. Pac is in his prime now. He could go and fight prime fighters out there. (Though I also feel that JMM is not in his prime as well)

I know I cant do anything about it. I just have to go with the flow. BUT, its people like you and the media who would once again treat him like a hero if he wins against David Diaz which all the more would give him an even bigger head.

yup, past their prime but not means they are shot. if you will say that pacquiao is still in his prime now, you could be mistaken. he is 29 now and probably past his prime now. the same age when pacquiao fought morales.

Maybe you are right. Still IMO, he is still in his prime. He is a "young" 29 and not an "old" 29 like Fernando Vargas. He still has a good 2-4 years remaining. Now is the chance for him to get a championship, a belt.
