I not so sure. If he couldnt stop Pascal I think he would have trouble to stop Bute. Is only chance will be in the later round like tonight after being outclassed like tonight. I also think Bute hit harder than Taylor so it could be possible that he is the one getting knocked out against Bute.

Froch is still just a plodder.

JT was a limited fighter who was never the same after Pavlik KTFOed him, yet went up to Froch's weight and outboxed him for 11.5 rounds.

Taylor won the first half of the fight.

    Froch won the second half.

Good fight with an exciting finish.

I completely agree I didn't think he'd lose this one and I'd still fancy him against the other champs in the division as he has the skill and ability (especially against bute) but he will need to get them out of there which requires a killer instinct.

Same, forgot the start time, listened to 5live from about 6th rd onwards, they didnt make it sound good, amazing ending to listen to, i started jumping around like my team had scored an injury time winner!

I thought Taylor was going to win on pts beforehand but that if Froch were to win it would be by late ko, didnt sound likely for a bit.

Anyone who hasn't seen the ending thought you'd might want to get a look before they take it down.

well i put my hands up, I was right. the only way froch would win tonight was by a freak of nature and apparently he got out boxed for 11 and Taylor gassed. I thought that taylor would win by UD which he almost did but the ****er gassed and should have covered up more to avoid getting dropped and he would have sailed to the scorecards.
Still as much as i dont like saying it, congratulations froch your still a suck ass boxer but you capatalised in the last minute but seriously somebody needs to shut this dude up cos he is way to cocky for his own good. Calzaghe wouild never have been outboxed that badly in a fight for so long and I cant help but think this is tempting Calzaghe oit of retirement.

Calzaghe by UD. Calzaghes a much better boxer than Taylor. his speed is amazing and he would catch froch all night and unlike Taylor he would not get knocked down or out.

Calzaghe is better than Froch, no doubt about it. But, thats not the point. Froch won, thats it!

not taking anything away from froch, he won but he got outboxed all night from what I heard and he was dropped in the third. Id say he caught a lucky break with this fight

No it actually was a close fight. I think I had Taylor up by 1 or maybe 2 coming to the 11.
