I seriously thouhght Cotto would struggle to get a UD but he proved that hes on a level just below May and Pac. We give credit to Pacquiao and Mayweather for beating fighters at a catchweight that outweighed them by 15 lbs. Last night Cotto KOd a fighter outweighing him by 20 and nobody is giving him any credit. Why?

Cotto looks rejuvenated. On top of that, he just looks great! Overall he's showing a lot of new wrinkles to his game. He's also working the body shots back into the foundation of his style which was what initially brought Cotto recognition and success early on in his career. Miguel definitely is a complete fighter at this stage of his career and probably at his very best overall. Physically he might be a tad slower than a 27 to 30 year old Cotto......but what he lacks in reflexes and speed at 34, he more than makes up for in what he's gained in experience and finding whatever it is in Roach that produces the very best of Miguel Cotto we've ever seen.

They're replaying it right now!! I gotta say, I'm looking at Geale right now and he looks all there. It really looks like the rehydration went as well as his in ring weight indicated.

Cotto was sharper than Rambo's knife last night. A little credit has to be given to Roach for bringing out the best in him.

Cotto looked damn good last night. Definitely looking forward to his fight with Canelo.

I'm not sure he's a "level just below Pac" at this point in time. He's probably a level or 2 above Pac in current form.

Honestly, I agree. I don't like Cotto at all but he deserves credit for that destruction yesterday I was shocked in all honesty.

I was only shocked at how quickly and easily he got Geale out of there bro.
I was expecting this to go into the championship rounds but Freddy & Cotto executed s beautifully laid out plan of attack:thumbsup
