A lot of you may not know this, but for the last several months (perhaps 6 or 8) I had been fasting from my daily intake of boxing matches to study them instead. I was chronicling all of the fights of personal interest to me from 1897 to 2018, with the lists being most exhaustive from the 50s thru the 80s. I am a bit of freak, and like to do things in order, consolidating all the big available fights on each of the well-known cards, particularly from the 60s on, as well as sometimes organizing by topic rather than order. I finally finished it two days ago, all eight divisions, perhaps covering beyond 10, 000 boxers. It annoyed my family and once I finished this project I guessed that I had maybe spent 300 or 400 hours on this project, and my family wholeheartedly agreed. Sometimes I would get so enthralled in my research that I would spend eight or ten hours a day reading and adding to these lists. Now that I'm finished, I am starting up my daily watching again.

London vs. Folley (boxrec called it a slugging match from the 4th on)
    Daniels vs. Jones II
Machen vs. Jones (boxrec said there were few dull moments and the two waded in2 each other 4 the final 3 rounds)
Johnson vs. Jones (boxrec said they often exchanged after the bell rang)
    Jones vs. Rademacher
Carter vs. Salim (a good scrap from what I've heard from a few on the forum)
Dagge vs. Hope (considered one of the best draws my most historians)
Jones vs. Baldoni (touted as one of 1956's best fights)
    Dupree vs. Persol II
LaStarza vs. Layne (boxrec described it as a rugged fight, and LaStarza said he found it tougher than Marciano 1)
Jordan vs. Akins I (it's welterweights, man!)
Stable vs. Shomo (considered by some the best fight of 1964)

Alright, not organizing, ordering. I have an obsession with having everything in order, and so that's what I was doing. Taking all of these fights and organizing them by date. I was eating. I meant a figurative fast from watching boxing all the time.

So, were you making an uber list of all the fights in chronological order?

And is your intention to watch all these fights (or the ones that are available)?
