My Scorecard - Pacquiao/Marquez 2

stupid scorecard tbh

 

I can't for the life of me figure out how 2 of the judges gave Pacquiao the 6th round. I thought Marquez clearly won it. Then in a much closer round 7 they unanimously give it to Marquez when it looked like it was super close that could have gone either way. Judges man....can't figure them out.

you are staying away from reality just to give yourself that delusional feeling that it was not a KD.

look at the part where he held on that rope. and look for that flashing "KNOCKDOWN" sign it is a clear indication that after he held on that rope , he squatted for a moment . now that is a clear indication that the rope helped him to avoid falling on his ass by squatting. if you cant still figure it out, i understand, your jmms legal counsel, what more would i expect?

i on my end believe jmm edged pac by just 1 point.. well, its just me.. but the judges saw it differently because they were of course... the judges... and i'm still happy

I don't think anyone can say for sure whether Marquez would have gone down or not if it wasn't for the ropes. If the ref did call it a knockdown, it wouldn't have been amongst the worst knockdown calls I've seen, but it also would have been rather presumptive. Ref made the right call imo, even though I wouldn't have complained if it was called a knockdown.

 

I don't think the ropes held Marquez up at all? I'm not sure how anyone gets that idea. He reaches out and grabs it for a split second, but he never seems close to going all the way down. Unless the ropes are actually stopping him from going down, it can't be deemed a knockdown. And there is no way of saying convincingly that this was the case.

It's easy to say that in a frozen frame, but in real time it's clear he was okay.

 

Actually, if you really watch it real good, ROUND 3 is supposed to be 10=7. Didn't you see MARQUEZ held on to the rope that prevented another kissing of the canvass? Wfhy don't you stop rationalizing about your boy MARQUEZ? Take it as a man. :hat

a) If a knockdown is counted, it isn't scored.
b) It wasn't a knockdown.

Stop coming up with horse**** to justify your opinion. If you think Pac won, good for you, that's a fair opinion, because it was a close disputable decision.

 

ceased and dismiss! there s no point arguing, divac made a point, harrison made a point. Both of you will just turn and turn all around back and forth... no meaning on this thread as both party will never ever give up.
