Mosley's currently ranked #3 P4P and is generally regarded as the top WW. Plus, all of you haters were screaming for months that Floyd is scared of Shane and would get spanked if they were to ever fight.

You clowns will never be happy. Even if he fights the three guys you mention above, you'll be in here bitching that he's ducking someone else.

Man you guys kill me talking about his age and he too old. Nobody was talking about age last week in the Martinez vs. Pavlik fight. Martinez is 7 years older than Pavlik being 35 years old and Pavlik only 28. This is boxing man and if you are good shape and have taken care of your body your entire life then its not a factor in that ring. Quit making built in excuses for the fight in case Floyd wins.

I hate when 24/7 tries to make anything the Mayweathers say sound all philosophical. If you even stop and think about what they say it's just stupid, ignorant bull****. They're not intelligent people, and it's not fair to the fans to try to trick us into giving anything they say legitimate credibility.

I respect all people in boxing usually but the Mayweathers always just talk and talk nonsense for publicity. I don't think the Shane fight with Margarito applies here. That fight made Shane look like a hard puncher. Shane will fight like he did with Cotto, and Mayweather is faster. Margarito was right in front of him.

    Why not?

Mayweather gains nothing in risking an upset by trading in Shane's pocket. He's got the highest punches landed vs. punches received stat for a reason: he doesn't trade any more than he absolutely has to.

There's no possible world in which Floyd goes into the phonebooth on purpose.

I noticed that too. With all that money Floyd has, you think he'd buy his dad a thesaurus

They would add to his legacy more than Carlos Baldomir or Ricky hatton.

Indeed!!!I've noticed that too but some of the ******ed Mayweather fanboys get mesmerized everytime one of those crackheads open their mouth, they hear Roger saying **** like "Chinatown is full of people from China" and they act like its the smartest and most profound thing they've ever heard just cause it was a Mayweather that said it.

    Bunch of ******s.

Did I ever say he was too old? No I didn't. I'm stating his age as a fact and that is what you'll see on paper. At weight classes like this and lower it becomes a major factor at elite level that only shows up in fights like this versus the best. I'm also not screaming that Mosley is gonna kill him and then making an excuse in case I'm wrong. This fight does not as much as it could for Mayweather's legacy if Shane is not remotely competitive because age will be the first thing brought up...especially when you consider how quick Mayweather is.

Age reared it's ugly head for BHop against Calzaghe. That style Joe had with it's speed and crazy workrate showed his limitation at his age to counter it. Fighters are human and they do eventually slow down. It's part of life and you can't ignore it. You can't spin things into hate when it's plain fact.

I agree. He does the same **** every 24/7. Well what they let us see anyway. Floyd is gonna fight backing up on his bicycle to invite Shane in and do counters and potshots all night. Floyd will not be the aggressor.

It depends what you're really defining intelligence as. Are they intelligent on a social and common sense level? Hell No. Do they know boxing? From all of the Mayweather's track record it would strongly suggest that they do have good boxing intelligence.

If you think Floyd Mayweather Jr. lacks fighting/boxing intelligence then you're clearly a ******.
