Breazeales bum ass or King Kong Ortiz. Whyte is an outside possibility but they're saying that Wilder wants Ortiz.

My bet is that he fights Ortiz. Ortiz has been reinstated by the WBC.

This might **** off Joshua's lawyers and P.R reps off..I mean fans, but Wilder is going his own route. He won't become a Hearn stooge like Joshua. These amateurs (Hearns AND Joshua) say that they are making this much and that much but it isn't what they're really making. The true Joshua is coming out. He will not create Wlad Joshua type revenue unless he fights Fury or Wilder.

I really hope he fights Ortiz but I have my doubts that this will happen. But even if he fights Breazeale I'd be happy with that, Breazeale is crude but he's tough and hit pretty hard, he'll be a live underdog and arguable will be one of Wilder's best opponents to date, though that's not saying much.

According to Hearn they already rejected Whyte for 4 mill with the proviso that they have an agreement Joshua is next. So if Wilder is saying it's still an outside possibility I guess they want more money or some further guarantees in regards to the Joshua fight.

Hopefully it will be Ortiz. Either we get a good fight or Ortiz gets busted again and Wilder will have another mental breakdown which will result in hilarious outbursts.

Breazeale is fight active & in my view has improved significantly from when he challenged Joshua.

I think he's the right opponent in terms of prep for a Joshua fight later in the year.

Wilder needs some rounds, not another blowout.

Ortiz is old & inactive. Good opponent on paper b/c of his name & record, but I'd give him a miss.

By all means take him on mid-year if Joshua delays the fight until the end of the year, but given a choice between the two, take the guy who's been active.

No excuses. I said that Wilder was coming off inactivity and an injury when he fought Washington, and I was told that Washington licked rounds off of Wilder lol. That's what I was told Sand so Ortiz if the fight gets made will have no excuses. Age and inactivity are excuses.

It's against the public opinion but I would not be surprised if Breazele KO'd Ortiz after getting knocked down a few times.

Breazele doesn't get a lot of respect but he's a force to be reckoned with. That guy is big and he keeps coming he also knows how to stay composed when hurt

Yep, Breazeale is crude as hell but you don't want to stand in front of him and just trade, even Joshua realised quite early on he couldn't do that and had to be a bit more restrained in dealing with DB. Big guy, solid power, will keep coming til he beats you down or gets beat down himself.

I wouldn't favour him over Ortiz but he'd make sure Ortiz knew he was in a fight.

It won't be Ortiz. Surely we've learnt by now that Wilder isn't gonna fight someone like him.

It will be Breazeale next I think.

I thought Wilder wanted nothing to do with drug cheats or Joshua's left overs?
