Stupid answer, athletes don't use peds for fights, they use 'em for preparation to be bigger, stronger, faster. Course he tested negative at that point, but who cares, got caught, was banned, deal with it.

To answer it: if Clen used clen for muscle build and fat burn which he looks like he did over his last 2 fights compared to belly soft Canelo before, some of clen's benefits he's still reaping since transforming is body did happen.

On the other hand, taking just 6 weeks off training means he lost a lot of muscle mass to fat and has to start over somewhat, probably clean this time around, so he mostly lost the benefits.

But I'm not naive. If Clen's intention was to cheat before, he has the means and the country to do less detectable PEDs. You see cheater mentality isn't "I got caught how do I clean up my sh!t up" but "OK Google, how do I NOT GET CAUGHT NEXT TIME?"
