Griffin is way ahead of Gatti cause unlike gatti, Griffin beat two of the best fighters in the world back 2back in the lightheavyweight division while Gatti gets beat up badly when he face great fighters.

Unless Forrest beats Chuck. Quite frankly I'd probably give Forrest the edge in that fight at this point.

Hopefully Chuck can get by Evans and put him at the back of the bus, I would want to see Evans getting a title shot.

Seems like anyone who actually breaks the rounds down scores the fight for Forrest. I think some people just feel like asses right now and wanna think Rampage one. I was the same way with Cotto-Mosley I was so pissed I screamed robbery until I rewatched still scored it for Mosley but I seen how Cotto got the decision.

Forrest won't be champ long. He'll lose it next fight to Machida, Wanderlei, Chuck or Rampage again.

Rampage fought like **** he was so passive. When he fought Hendo and Chuck he was right up in their faces. In this fight he was timid and backtracked.

I think all this talk about him becoming a completley new fighter and vastly improved since getting Juanito have been premature.

I thought he was too passive as well, he has better hands and chin then Forrest he could have walked straight in almost at will it seemed. When he decided to throw a combo he almost always got the better of it......reminded me of Chuck against Jardine where he just stood back and did **** all and thought he would win.

Well if thats the case you still cant ever use that taken lightly excuse and Rampage didnt which im glad. With all the upsets that occured a year ago noboddy can take anything for granted now especially in a title fight. Forrest Griffin is a execellent fighter is it that hard to believe that the just got alot better ? Every fight hes had since when he fought Titos he looked so better in so many aspects every time he fights. Training as much as he does and with a guy like Randy Couture who knows Rampages style well from training with him is going to help you.

you're totally wrong, griffith has beaten great fighters in their primes, something gatti never did, in fact gatti had his ass handed to him everytime he stepped up to elite level.

Rampage is a guy with good humor from what I saw on the Ultimate Fighter show and I hope he'll be back, Griffin slightly edged it because of the last round.

He's like Gatti in that he was very much like a throwback fighter who wasn't afraid to hit and get hit. That's what made his early fights so exciting. Forrest seems a bit more controlled now.

Boxings talent pool is deeper, there is a much bigger difference in boxing between a decent and a great fighter.
