I am not a fan of Hopkins and his boring dirty style. I also had him losing two close decisions to Taylor., and a wide decision to Calzaghe.

I bet $400 on Dawson before yesterday's fight.

However, I have to admit that I thought Hopkins won the fight yesterday. I had him winning 4 of the first 6 rounds and 2-3 of the last 6 rounds. Hopkins frustrated Dawson and took turns pot shooting and rushing in to hug. It was clear that Chad wanted to do more all the time, but Bernard really didn't let him get the time and chance to get off.

I guess someone with the money decided that it was Hopkins time to hand on the batton.

Like Popkins and had him beating Calzaghe (a wide decision - WTF?) but he lost yesterday. He just didn't do enough.

That said he ****ed up Chad's face in the process once again ruining another fighter - even in defeat.

Please tell me you're joking, Hopkins definitely did not win that fight by any stretch of the imagination, thanks to Jesus that you're not a judge, 4 of the first 6 rounds WTF, its poor assessments like yours that lead to so many bad decisions in the sport of boxing, by the way you're the only one who feels Hopkins won, what exactly is your agenda?

Spoiling is only effective if you are able to land whilst doing it. Andre Ward does this effectively, sometimes Bernard has done this effectively throughout his career.

Last night he did not however. At times as the fight went on Dawson was holding and spinning Hopkins. Occasionally Hopkins landed a lead right on his way in, but too often he leapt in with his head.

Hopkins for the first time I've ever seen was unable to manipulate his opponent. Dawson won at least 7/8 of the rounds.
