    Slurs his speech.
    Not capable of providing a true unbias perception of what is happening in the ring.
    Bias.
    The worst commentator out there is is tolerated because he provides some comic relief during a fight.
    Time to replace him.
    There is so much better out there.

    That's his job... Merchant is not a yes man, he will ask questions related to the fight & all the up coming fights... Floyd jr is just a pre madonna like a silly girl who gets easily irritated during her period but I think it's roid rage...

    I totally agree BearJew...Journalists/reporters need to be more objective and just do their job relaying the facts to the public. I don't know if Merchant is riding anyone's dick...but he definitely does things like what he did with Mayweather to other fighters, and he does it because he wants to stay relevant even though he's HORRIBLE especially during the fight.

    Watch the pressconference post fight with mayweather when he talks about Larry Merchant. He talks about him a few times... The part that one me over is when he said he wanted to thank his fans, but merchant kept interupting and not letting him talk....can't argue with money may there.

    The thing with Floyd fans is that it's ok for some of you when it's Floyd doing the disrespecting (e.g. Floyd's ustream racist rant) but you get your panties in a knot if he is the recipient of it.

    I wonder what Toney said when Floyd had a go at Pac on ustream?

    This is boxing not a beauty contest in which they'll going to ask you how you can bring world peace. Floyd jr destroying a man's rep through the media is much worst compared to what Merchant did... Guess how an hypocrite reacts... Like a steroid junkie on the verge of outburst with behavioral violence... What's funny was his own father supports this just like how his own son did to him on national tv... No wonder his fans said it's all for a show because it's going to be hell of a "staged fight"...
