porter-broner: good job by both guys. porter was 160 on fight night and the weight and size and strength difference was just a little too much for broner. broner still has some growing and maturing to do both physically and professionally. porter surprised me with his speed, quickness and sharpness. he wasn't this good against brook. broner needs to fight a joesesito lopez or provodnikov or rios next....get back on track. for porter, lots of opitons. a khan fight would be a great matchup. porter-floyd or porter-thurman or porter-maidana would be fantastic fights...and all strong possibilities now.

ward-smith: ward basically re-established himself as the #2 or #3 pfp guy after a two year layoff...that's two years of rust that he had to throw off and overcome a hungry, bigger opponent....and he did it by making a light snack of paul smith. ward is gonna dominate 168 as long as he wants and easily claim all the 175lb titles when he decides to make that move.

lemieux-ndam: a barnburner, but really I wasn't that impressed by either guy. lemieux is another arturo gatti...aggressive and with a big punch, but defensively porous and susceptible to the counter punching style... a flawed but very exciting fighter. Ndam is clearly the more talented, but he seemed to get stage fright and fall down every time he was hit...even sometimes when the punch wasn't that clean. a fighter who clearly doesn't believe in himself. he would hurt lemieux and instead of following up with combinations and fighting with some urgency, he would back off and toss out some harmless jabs which onlly allowed lemieux back into the fight and continue to throw them big punches. it was almost like ndam didn't really know what was going on around him....did he realize that the four kd's meant he had to stop or drop lemieux? then why did he back off every time he had lemieux hurt? why did he seem so completely unperturbed after losing the decision, parading his kid and taking pictures like somebody told him he won? I think somebody needed to explain to ndam what the hell is really going on...he's one of the most clueless fighters ever.

see? that's more like it...an actual, openly hostile response to someone you don't like.....i can respect it even though you'd never say it to my face.

I actually think that is a viable match up. It would be a barn burner.

I don't meet dudes off of the internet. However, if we ever ran into each other, I would say it to your face.

Porter won that fight convincingly though I must confess during the fight I feared another Mayweather/Vegas corruption may be at hand when Tony Wilkes continually let Broner Hold & did nothing about it. Tony eventually did take a point which was long overdue. Steve Smoger commented on this also. Was glad to see Broner act more adult in this loss than he did his loss top Maidana He does pot though :)
Cant wait to see Errol Spence jr fight again against a guy that's had a chance to prepare

porter had a huge weight and size advantage. broner did as well as could be expected against a middleweight. porter is also one of the top guys around...porter looked much improved from his last two fights. for a minute it looked to me like he was overrated. but he's actually a very tough matc-up for anyone. i'd like to see a brook rematch. broner doesn't lose credit for this loss. but maybe he needs to stick to the jww class...fight guys like garcia, matthysse, etc. porter was just too big and strong.

spence is good...i agree, lo greco was really no comp...but i think spene would have destroyed roberto garcia too.
