My take on the ending of Bute/Andrade I

I agree with this part, could have been stop before the knockdown. But like you said, the ''extra time'' controversy is bull****.

But this kind of moron showed up and bring me back to realtiy.

 

I think Bute was out on his feet before the KD. But Andrade should have stayed in his corner.

Anyway, it's not even that, I think the ref helped Bute before that, there was a moment where Bute was BARELY holding Andrade, Andrade landed a big punch and the ref immediately, without reason stepped in saying "break, break break.
That was CRAP, he then interrupts the action even more by saying something else and keeps them separated then finally lets the action continue. It's clear in this vid:

The Reff was going o pick him up.
He was reaching.
Now the ****in guy was basically knocked out.
Obvious.

Exactly. Bute was sailing around the ring and the fight should really have been stopped earlier.

Thankfully it seems Bute did not suffer permanent damange but eventhough the ref clearly did not want to stop the hometown favorite, he should have thought first of the health of the fighter.

 

Bute will win the rematch without any real problem.

 

IMO if Andrade had been a finisher, Bute would have been finished!

 

I think he will win but not that easy, when will the rematch happen?
