Was the name of that poster cloudjay? because that ******* keep saying that their is a chance that pac can dance in the ring against pbf, hatton and hoya in the past and was called delusional by the boxing guru here like divac lol.

To the topic. its really 50/50. unlike the hoya fight, hatton will be fighting in his best weight division in a very comfortable manner. pac's speed and hatton's clinching skills will play a big role in this fight.

This is a pick em fight IMO. I think the odds will slightly favor Pacman but there are so many variables to consider. Hatton's natural bigger size and in fighting. How will Pacman deal with that? Then there is Pacman's amazing hand and foot speed. Which will prevail? Only time will tell.

Ive been split 50/50 on this fight since it was announced, I said anything could happen & those who were picking Pac & saying it will be easy are nuts, I said I was gonna make my prediction & **** it.... I`ll go with Hatton.

You heard it here 1st.... my not so confident pick of RICKY HATTON.

Great thread. Makes me more excited about the fight if it were possible.

There's a lot to like about this match. Both fighters are in their primes. Both will be fighting in a weight they are comfortable with. Both are warriors and we can be assured of nonstop action.

Rooting for Pac and I expect him to win since he'll be bringing his speed and power along with his more disciplined and patient style of aggression we've seen in his last two fights. Hatton will surely make this a war but Pac edges him out. I expect blood to flow.

I bet Pac to win, but not as a cakewalk. This will be a brutal fight between these two. Whoever said this was easy for both sides, You can stop posting and stay in your delusional dream.

Personally, I didn't see much testifying to Hatton's improved 'defense' against Paulie. I saw the likes of better offense; at least it was more planned and subtle. But Paulie was able to land at will on Hatton's face. It's just that it didn't matter. Malinaggi mentally surrendered in the second round so im not sure how much stock to put in that fight.. I think Hatton's a solid fighter but I'm not sold on him as an A level yet. He's easy as **** to hit and if he can't knock Manny out then he isn't winning. I believe that Manny will have the power to keep Hatton away and the footwork to stay out of trouble when he can't. Hatton fights in one dimension and Manny is to good for that ****. I envision Hatton getting sluggish in the 7th/8th/9th rounds and Pacquiao stopping him via accumulation.

Hatton's jab was markedly better in the Malignaggi fight. Do you see that as being a factor?

To be honest, it's so hard for me to judge because Malignaggi looked so passive and ****. Hatton just seemed to be cruising to the extent that he could practice all his new moves. Perhaps Hatton was just so awesome that he made it look easy, but that is not my sense of what happened.

At the end of the day (love Joe!) I think Ricky is Ricky and whatever little tweaks he's trying to do at this stage of his career won't make that much difference.

Going to be a great fight. I always root for Paccy against every1 but I am a Hatton fan from Manchester and have folllowed him for years and im going to go for a Hatton KO round 6

I just feel Hattons body shots and constant pressure will be too much for Paccy to handle. ANd that tale of the tape is rubbish, manny P will be entering the ring at pretty much the same weight as the weigh in, not many more pounds above 140. Where as Hatton goes into the ring about 12 pounds heavier than the weigh in. Look at the size of Hatton at weigh compared to fight night.

Good luck to both men but I can't see Paccy lasting the 12 unless Hatton has a shocker (see callazo fight)

i cannot wait for this fight! it will be a war & has the potential to be one of the best fights this decade, imo its 50/50 i believe they hold an equal number of advantages over each other,at this point im slightly favouring hatton to grind out a close points victory, but wouldnt be shocked if pacquiao wins, and i think theres a definite chance this fight could end inside the distance in either man's favour,im just happy this fight is gonna happen because its us boxing fans that will be the big winners when its all said&done, huge respect to both fighters for taking the toughest fight available to them, their both a credit to boxing.roll on may 2nd!
