The only fights that should have open scoring should involve judges who are either new to the big fight scene, judges coming off of iffy scoring, and anybody name Gale Van Hoy. That way if the scoring seems to be going the wrong way, the fans will know and will make their opinion known.. Also in fear that maybe everyone is watching and they want to do a better job and not risk getting suspended....

I like this but i think it just takes too much away from the sport. Love the suspense, and we will see too many people assured of their victory slacking off i believe. This will change corner culture multitudes as well.

In the short term, it takes from some suspense.... In the long term, it will either make the judges step their game up or it will weed out the below average judges.. With fights that have Julie Ledermen, Dave Moretti, glenn Trowbridge, Jerry Roth... etc no open scoring... But when its Gale Van Hoy and random Panamanian judge, open scoring will be needed.... I think it should go by quality of judges and the quality of fight.. Amir Khan vs. Lamont Peterson would require open scoring...

i've been against it ever since that fat **** from nigeria heard the scores in the 8th round against vitali klitchko and he basically just said "**** this ****. let me quit before i can't even enjoy this money i'm gonna make from this fight."
