I thought Spinks was better than Phillips tonite. However I'm not going to cry robbery. Spinks dose enough to win rounds but not enough to domanate rounds. He allows the judges to question who won the round and in this case two of the judges gave enough rounds to Phillips for him to win. Another key factor was that Phillips won most of the exchanges when they were going toe to toe. Doing better on the inside can sometimes allow a boxer to take a round even if he is getting the short end on the outside. I'm not sure how long Phillips will hold on to his tittle. If there is a rematch clause than I think Spinks can win. If not He will probbly take an "easy" deffence aginst someone like Alex Bunema. If he beats Bunema I think he will face his mandtory Sechew Powell I think Powell will win. I think Spinks career is far from over. I think he can win a rematch if there is one. He is defently an exlent boxer. His offence is outstanding eventhough he lacks power which hurt him tonite and may hurt him in the future as well. He has good deffence but against the top boxers at 147, 154, and 160. He will get hit. Phillips was able to get through a couple of times from the outside.
