That was a sweet throw. Funny to see Hughes get manhandled like that.

That was sweet, but its off-pissing to hear people call it a Judo throw, its a wrestling throw, GSP trains with wrestlers, without a gi, thats were he learned it, not Judo, wrestling.

No need to be hostile about it. Sorry your hero lost. Life will go on.

And it is entirely possible that when another huge middleweight manages to sweat down to the division that he will upset GSP. In the meantime, GSP was already found wanting by Matt Serra. If you want to debate - go for it. If you just want to be belligerent - then I have better things to do.

FYI master Beebs - the same throw exists in 50 other martial disciplines. Does it really matter what you call it?

What the **** does it matter. Taiotoshi, outside leg trip, whatever the **** you want to call it. It's been around for as long as people grappled and every martial art has it, but a throw like that is most associated with competitive judo these days and it's not innaccurate at all to address it as such. That's like bitching and crying that it's a body scissor when someone says Josh Barnett has gaurd.

Love how in the second round of Wand-Chuck, when Wand had chuck up against the cage and they were throwing bombs at each other Wand landed a right hook to Chuck and chuck feel down. The commentators completely ignored that punch and called it a slip, and they brought up how chuck landed a punch before he feel down, or slipped as they called it.

    Bunch of biased bull****.

Exactly what i thought. It was the punch that put him there. As though Wandy scored no points for a knockdown.

I was in a bad mood when I posted that, and came off like a dick, so I apologize Beebs for attacking you like that.

wland floored liddel on several occasions and because of that I think that wland won the fight.

i mean if your on the street and you fall down like that, in the eyes of the witnesses, it is a knockdown whether it is a slip or not
