Ok, first of all I just want to say thank you in advance for anyone who reads through this.

I was one of the few who picked Malinaggi to win against Broner and I believe he did win as well but Broner has come in for a lot of unjust criticism in the wake of that fight. The reason I picked Malinaggi is that he is a very under rated fighter with excellent skills, speed and punch resistance who has been campaigning 2 weights above the guys Broner has been fighting.

The things Malinaggi really hates stylistically are speed of hand and feet, aggression and work rate. If you look at Malinaggi's only two really convincing losses, that is what his opponents brought to the fight but even in those fights with Hatton and Khan I believe he could have gone 12. Broner has speed but mainly just uses single shot counters, he was having success at the times he was upping his work rate and aggression but he was not consistent with it and often provided a stationary target.

I believe Broner is now being under rated by a lot of people on here. Malinaggi in my opinion should now have a record of 34-3 (I gave him the Diaz and Broner fights but have not seen the Cano 1) I also feel that Malinaggi would beat guys like Danny Garcia, Kell Brook, Provodnikov, Alvarado, Rios etc. and the only guys I could see stopping him are guys like Pacquiao, Maidana and maybe one or two others.

In closing I'd just like to say watch out for Broner because although he isn't the next Mayweather he is still a very good fighter on the up who will make for a lot of good fights. Ones I'd like to see him in are Bradley, Maidana, Matthyse, *Kell Brook, *Danny Garcia, *Alvarado, *Brandon Rios, *Amir Khan, Manny Pacquiao, *Soto Karrass, *Provodnikov, Peterson and Andre Berto.

The ones I have marked with an asterisk are fights I'd favour him in the ones without are fights I'd see as 50/50 or favour the other fighter.

Sorry I meant to make the poll a multi-choice option and Malinaggi was competative with Cotto. He lost clearly but there was not much in it.

I think several fighers there beat Broner so Im not going to pick. Having Pacquiao on that list is plain stupid. Of course Pac rapes him, just as Floyd would **** him. I also pick Bradley, Rios and Khan to dominate him easily. What would be interesting is Broner against someone like Ortiz, Alexander or Peterson.

Broner is on the same level as a faded Paulie - he certainly did not prove that he is above it.

That fight happened like 5 years ago? Paulie was a whole lot fresher then, and had far better footwork and stamina. He's obviously significantly faded now.

Honestly, from this list, the question is not who can beat Broner, but who can Broner beat. And I wouldn;t be able to answer that one with any certainty.

Poll title should have been "Which of these guys do you think WOULD NOT BEAT Broner"

And the answer is none. Close thread.

    I would favor:

    Pac
    Berto
    Alexander
    Garcia
    Marquez

    Matthysse is 50/50

And I think he beats the others.

i dont think people realize how versatile broner is, just will need to fight opponents who bring out the best in him.
