Calzaghe dominated that fight from start to finish. The stoppage was a little premature, but Calzaghe was just gonna batter Sheika more. Much like the Byron Mitchell fight.

The refs saved Sheika and Mitchell from getting 'Lacyed'. At least Sheika was able to come back and have some more good fights rather than Calzaghe ending his career then and there.

What the hell were you watching. It was a war where Calzaghe was still taking every round. He was simply the more classy operator i.e. better defence, offence, intelligence etc

Early stoppage but it was the beginning of the end of Sheika. He was beginning to get stunned regularly, he was tired and came out winging shots and hoping for a lucky ko. Calzaghe stayed calm under pressure and began tagging him more flush because of Sheika being wild.

Look at Calzaghes record and you'll see he only loses rounds to awkward guys/boxers.

The Mitchell fight is an odd one , I've seen it from two different camera angles(as in the coverage for the both of them seemed to be using several angles different from each other) and while one looks premature , the other looks like a fine stoppage . This has lead me to be very confused about whether it was a good stoppage or not .

Sheika v Calzaghe may have been slightly premature , but it was heading the way of Calzaghe pummeling Sheika and Sheika was by no means winning never mind outboxing Calzaghe .

I wanted Sheika to win but Calzaghe beat him like a dog.
