everyone who watched this fight live or with commentary... do yourself a favour and watch it without sound and Pretend that both fighters are eastern europeans or both fighters are american (remove bias if possible)... this fight was a defensive master piece where nothing sagnificant really landed and to say that it was one guy schooling the other doesn't make sense to me. It really was one of those fights.

Scott won this fight! Why? He landed more punches (Jab AND Power Punches) and made Glazkov missing with his shots for the most time (Glazkov landed only 27% of his shots!). Glazkov could only get to the body for the most of the time but mostly he was just missing with his shots! Not landing at all! Maybe Scott could not hurt Glazkov and Glazkov was the aggresor in this fight but aggresion alone is not enough it HAS to be effectiv! But it is not effectiv when you are not able to land good clean shots! Glazkov was not effectiv at all.
Glazkov had Scott many many times on the ropes but he did nothing of it. Even backing up, let Scott clinch or running his way out!
I ask you a question... Glazkov only got a draw on his own stage!!!!! Dont you think they would give him the win when it would be possible? On his own stage? From his own promoter? Of course they would! Glazkov is very lucky with this draw and he knows it! Putting his hand up in the air after he heard it was a draw.... why this when he thought that he won the fight?
Even on the german forum they think that Scott was robbed! And after the fight he was complaining that Scott was running away from him:verysad:verysad:verysad

Hey i obviously root for alot of EE boxers but i dont let that distort my objectivity. Karmazin who i was a huge fan of for example clearly lost to Spinks even though i thought his manner of boxing was ugly and negative as ****. This fight was nothing like that, i do like Scott and don't think his style is super boring which i also seem to be in the minority about. Scott boxes and uses alot of lateral movement he doesn't try and run to the other side of the ring after landing a shot and pot shot constantly.

There was no schooling in this fight this is true! Scott was way too passiv to call this fight a scholling. But still he was the better boxer for the most time of the fight!

i am actually the same way, just it seems after reading RBR and peoples opinions it seemed like it was a clinc. this was a close fight and a draw is a respectable decision. after turning of the sound i watched to see how the punches landed (i watched for that in the earlier rounds as well) and many were missing (from both fighters). the jabs were flying from scott, but missing a lot of the time, glazkov couldn't tee off either because scott was not leaving any oppenings. I dont envy anyone who had to score this fight profesionally.

he is passive but he did have some aggresive moments where he went for it but just ended up missing just like Glazkov did in the few occasions where he went for it. these guys are defensivly too good.

i'll be honest this is the type of fight i wish had gone for unlimited amount of rounds until one guy would quit or get knocked out because these guys are so good defensivly that in 10 rounds it feels like they were playing chess and not fighting.

If his jab was so strong and he landed it so frequently then why was Slava's face completely unmarked, no swelling or bruising? His body had a couple bruises but not his face (Contrary to what Malik claimed after the fight when trying to insist he got robbed)

Glazkov isn't even that hard of a puncher.. he landed clean maybe 2 or 3 times the whole fight.

You can't just score a round for the other guy because you don't like the other guys style.

Anyone scoring this for Glazkov should turn in the their boxing fan card and start watching another sport.. because you DKSAB.

As a fan of Glazkov, I scored it 8-2 for Scott. Glazkov came forward, but was simply too economical with his shots. It was frustrating, because there were openings, especially later in the fight. Even his trainer Don Turner said during the fight, that he was not throwing enough punches.
I do agree that BJ Flores was biased toward Malik, but that doesn't change the fact, that Scott should have been awarded a well-earned, clear-cut decision.
