I was looking forward to seeing Golovkin fight in big screen. This is some of my opinion after seeing him matching up against a quick athletic fighter. His hand speed is decent. It may not show all the time because that is his punching style. Just like he doesn't put everything into his punches all the time, his hand speed follows the movement of his opponent. Look at how fast Proska head snapped from the left right combination that knocked him down in the 4th round. Some have said his foot is slow. I watched the first round a few times when Proska was most fresh and found Golovkin to move very well. The only bad habit I saw was he tends to hold a defensive posture that he doesn't move away from despite knowing a punch is coming. Confidence in his chin perhaps. Also Proska is a very good fighter with a brave heart. It was only the 4th round I thought Proska became desperate and looked like he didn't belong in the ring with GGG.
He looks slower because he sits on his ass and throws a lot of thudding power shots, not pitter patter scoring pops. That is why after 2 rounds proksas face looked like it got ran over by a semi truck
