-Ortiz has some weak/slow straight lefts, and he hit Mayweather with it more than I thought he would be hit

-Ortiz is basically a B fighter, a brawler with a glass jaw. Mayweather was hit a few times, but nothing really reliable hit, damn near everything (save those weak left hands) rolled off Mayweather's body

-Apparently Ortiz is also dumber than a bag of bricks. The ****? He had his man on the ropes, tagged him a few times, then bam, launched his head like a **** on his way to an obvious foul (yes, it was intentional)

-Following up Ortiz's stupidity, why the **** do you have to apologize/kiss/hug six hundred times? One is enough

-Mayweather? He's done this cheap **** before. He just did that against Mosley---Mosley started talking, and he gets a left hook/right hand. But he has an iron chin. Ortiz doesn't. Unsportmanlike? Yes, Legal... maybe yes

-Now I say ..Maybe.. yes because Joe Cortez is a weak and useless referee as usual. That was a weak-ass "time in" sequence.

-Larry Merchant was hillarious, and you can tell, by the way Floyd took off on Larry, he was guilty with what he did too. But again, in most views, it was a legal punch what he did, no matter how shady it was.

-That night was another black eye for boxing, in summary. You have intentional headbutts so damn obvious, you have an unsportmanlike conduct, an inattentive ref, an interviewer and interviewee fighting, all-in-all an event that was bad for boxing.

As for Mayweather's performance, I can't say I'm impressed or unimpressed. Mayweather was Mayweather that night. I predicted a 118-109 Mayweather UD, obviously I was wrong but if the weird events didn't happen I feel it may have lasted the distance.

He beat a grossly overrated (in ESB) Ortiz. Seriously, An overrated Ortiz beat an ever more overrated Berto. Of course, not saying Mayweather is overrated---that was an ATG showing regardless of his B level opponent. Truth is, WW is weak right now when you take the two ATGs out of the picture. The best is Ortiz and Berto? Compared to 3 years ago with Cotto, Margo and Mosley? Oh well.
