Good rational evaluation of the fight. I disagree with the first round score, but other wise I agree. I had GK up 7-2 in the 10th, but I gave every close round to GK. There were in fact 2 or 3 very close rounds that could have gone either way. GK and his team had a great plan, it worked and GK used it masterfully. Lopez was fighting on attitude and arrogance, plus a completely inept corner. It won't happen but his father needs to go; maybe he has another son he can ruin. I don't think GK will win many more fights against the elites of the division. He doesn't have massive power although his fundamentals are very good. He also does get hit a lot, and against a powr puncher he may go down for the count. Still, a great win for GK and for Aussie boxing in general.
The only thing that teo had to do to win this fight was to pump his jab. Period. Kambosos is simpler than the mechanism of a pacifier. Doing that he would have comfortably won, and if the oportunity arises he could have scored a ko. But no, he's too idiot to do that. Instead of doing that he threw an invaluable amount of energy through the toilet in rounds one and two, running out of gas in rounds 11 and 12 and losing the fight there. Mixed with a good amount of delusion, since this idiot thought he had won all rounds but two of them. His father in his corner... well, let's say that intelligence is genetic, I better dont say anything else. Disgusting. good post, btw, thank you
first, i dont think you know what "concepts" means. second, it doesnt take a genius to extrapolate my method of scoring the fight, and apply it to any method you use, or anyone else uses. any idiot can do it. except the handful here, apparently. instead, you pretend like you scored some type of point, while adding nothing of value to the debate at hand.
Nice write up @bandeedo I don’t remember my score exactly but I did score the first 10-8 for Kamboses. I had it 5 rounds a piece after 10 with 1 KD each. And giving Kambosos the last 2 with the same explanations like yours.
A knockdown is the ultimate dominance indicator in a scoring system regardless of the performance in the remainder of the round. When a knock down is scored it is automatically a 10-8 round. If the guy that got knocked down dominated the entire round then you score it 9-8. You can’t have an even round with one knockdown.
If the guy that got knock down completely dominates the rest of rnd its a 10 - 9 to the guy that scored the knock down. The knock down giving him the 10 for landing the significant punch and the 9 to the guy that got knock down. That is how a 10 point system work. The winner gets the 10. It can only be 9-8 if there was a point deduction. edit: I wanted to add that the rnd cannot be even with a knock down. The kncockdown is the ultimate scoring factor in a fight. The guy that got knock down now has to do everything he can in hope of getting a 10-9 instead of a 10-8. Scoring it 10 - 9 a possibility. Scoring it 10 - 10 is completely wrong.
i did. and i explained why. now adjust the numbers to what they would be the way you score. all done, nothing to it.
No one asked u dip**** Hilarious karma for bandeedo recently … He's been sucking on Mikey Garcia & Lopez' eggs for years LOL.. You're Lucky Loma is fked these days because 2017 Loma would've beat the brakes off of those two and so would Josh Taylor who you keep saying they would walk through
