i just rewatched the 11th,maidanas round in my eyes. i honestly thought you scored fights on punchs landed, and i counted maidana scoring more punchs, coming forward:thumbsup i rewatched it before i came on here ,saw this thread and big dunk scored the same rounds as me:good
What flaws do you see in degale?:think Everyone knows Groves isnt Smith, but Degale stops Groves. Groves is so uncomfortable going backwards and Degale has the combined skills, speed and power to halt Groves. In fact Degale doesnt even need to push him backwards he could just circle him and do what he wanted.
Okay then. I gave Maidana all 12 rounds because I liked the way he was always on the front foot. Got a problem with that?
dont be silly. everyone has there opinion. several have agreed with me. check the pm i sent you mate.
Yeah DeGale's punch technique definitely needs work on. But he's still new to the pros and should hopefully improve as he goes. He slapped a lot more in his first few fights compared to his most recent work. His defence was great but he couldn't really stop a limited but game Paul Smith from getting near him and if he was fighting someone with a little more technique and power, he might not have had it so one sided. That's pretty much the only flaw he has though which is incredibly impressive. We haven't seen how well he responds to getting hit but with his style, I wouldn't be surprised if we never find that out. He's so calm and focused in the ring and he's able to control his opponents with ease so far. I also like the way he's going about it. Big props for wanting the British title and winning it so quickly. He's also said he wants to defend it and get the Lonsdale belt outright which is great. He's a bit arrogant and has an inflated ego but so what? He's a quality boxer, if a little boring at times, and can definitely go onto massive things so long as he keeps working and improving as he goes. 10/10 so far for me.
I would agree with you there - with some of his shots they seem like slaps but on the whole he is ok.
