That part is BS. He got to Floyd, he got schooled bad but he got to him a couple times. Let's not get carried away.
Floyd Mayweather's best attribute aside from his elite defense is his ring generalship. It's on par with some of the greatest ring generals in history, including the great Pea Whitaker and Willie Pep. Floyd drains the suspense from his fights pretty quickly, almost always dictates how the pace of the fight will play out, and by the mid rounds has his opponents so confused that it looks like they almost give up and just want to cruise to the scorecards. When you make a high octane fighter such as Pacman throw less punches than you throw, you're imposing your will and showing what a great ring general you are.
I expected this to be a uneventful 12 rounded that would leave many casual naive fans disappointed. They expected a big toe-to-toe war that anyone who followed these fighters knew wouldn't happen.
Casual fans would blame Floyd for a 'boring' fight 'cause they haven't a ****ing clue what they're watching. It was an interesting fight. Floyd was always going to be Floyd and fight the way he's always fought, it was up to Manny to bring something different to the other 47, and he couldn't for any prolonged period.
