First off lemme say that I think McCline came in balls to the wall to win this. He held nothing back even if he didn't get the win (which was severely close in my estimation). Now I know this is gonna be a festival for Klitco, but Sam Peter pulled it out despite being seriously hurt. Sam made a big mistake by walking through McCline's punches as if he couldn't bang. While McCline isn't a one punch guy, he is a big man and it's a mistake for anyone to think they can just walk through punches from a man that size. Sam is damn lucky that McCline is not a great finisher. My biggest grief is the job of Michael Ortega. Please for the love of God make sure this man never sees another world championship bout. He gave Samuel Peter no quarter as McCline chirped to him like a sad Parrot inside, AFTER grabbing each and every time the fight got close. And the grabbing, which is the biggest offense. I cannot believe the balls that they watched the Waldo fight, and took the exact CHEAT (yes, not strategy, CHEAT) and pulled a John Ruiz to make it close. Everytime Sam got close, McCline dipped his left and turned his back to that right hand. Everytime. On the inside he grabbed Sam where he couldn't get off. That is illegal and Ortega did absolutely nothing all night to prevent it. He dropped the ball in this one. Add him to the long list of incompetent referees. I'm gonna watch it again and like the Waldo fight I will count each time McCline fell in to grab. No doubts from me it was excessive. Anyways that's it for now. All I can say about it. McCline did his damnest to win, but Ortega ****ed up big time.
