Elite heavyweights don't cherrypick Seferis and Wallins.

Or sosnowskis, charrs, Wach, mormeck, pianeta, Kevin Johnson, obed Sullivan etc etc.

a very small selection of ‘first ballot’ hall of famers vitali an wlads actual title defences, who had to tag team their way to a lengthy reign

He's a limited Boxer but @ HW he "seems" better than he is in this "Era".
He is guiding his career in a profitable way ( good luck to him) but you get the feeling he's always one punch away from the End! He did surprise me against Wilder but really did I overrate Wilder in my mind. possibly thrown because of Furys long lay off, but fair play to him but I cannot rate himn as above ordinary or lets say Frank Bruno level, he is no Lennox Lewis ... maybe just above a Bruno but not much if at all.

to be fair a level above Bruno and a notch below Lewis is no disgrace.

bruno v fury would be a good fight, Bruno could jab with the best of them

Wallin is better than 40 y/o Mormeck , Wach and Pianeta. Those 3 cherry picks were defenses of 4 HW belts.

And yet he clearly won both fights and was robbed out of one of them, so masterclass and schooling are appropriate.

i dont know what elite means to everyone, but to me, its a skill level. not a popularity level, not a situational level, and not dependent on what ifs. fury is not elite. he is among the top hw titlists of the last 5 years, but he is not boxing elite.
