:good Thanks for posting the videos. I haven't seen Torres vs Cotto in full, but I have a good idea of how dramatic it was. I'll promise to download it in full first thing tomorrow after work. Being a Margarito fan, I didn't want Cotto to win in his last outting, but I still respect the guy. He has fantastic skills and power, and there is no doubt in mind that he can still be a factor not only in the 147lb divison, but also the P4P ranking. He just has to follow in the footsteps of my favourite fighter of all time. Barrera, and comeback from a defeat better than ever. I wish him luck. About my listed fights. It was basically a compilation of fights I love to watch more than any others, and there is no right or wrong answers. So many fights could be listed, Gatti/Ward, Barrera/Mckinney, Vasquez/Marquez 3, there are just so many special fights. I welcome any more clips from fights you enjoy especially. Great choices.
Benn vs G man is undoubtedly a great fight. An absolute war, where both fighters landed with regularity. The drama with Benn almost getting blown away, but coming back to land the right hand everytime he threw it was pulsating stuff. However, the ending of the fight causes it to be overshadowed somewhat, and that's perhaps the reason I never list it as a favourite. Great entertainment, though. Shame about the G man. Should have gone on to establish himself as an ATG.
Even Ali Vs. Foreman, Hagler Vs. Hearns, Leonard Vs. Hearns, Aguello Vs. Pryor, And Chavez Vs. Taylor...if You Havent Seen Any Of These Masterpieces. You Should Definatly Buy/borrow/youtube Those Classics...of Course Just My "opinion"...
Its cool too ,you being very loyal to mexican boxers, since I am assuming you are mexican? But the problem with loyalties like that.... is that sometimes you make super Bias statements.. I do believe you were the one arguing that Margarito would KO Whitaker ?:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl
:yep I wasn't taking that thread too seriously. None of us need a thread to help us determine the result between Whitaker vs Margarito, so I didn't see any harm in answering in a sarcastic manner. I did say Margarito would win by knockout, but I over-exaggerated to such an extent, I thought it was made obvious I was being clown. Whitaker's elusiveness, lateral movement, combined with Margarito's telegraphed, wide punches and his relatively slow handspeed, make it an easy pick, doesn't it? I'm not Mexican, I'm British. My preference in fighters and fights have absolutely nothing to do with Mexico, I can assure you.
I live in California, but I am not Mexican, I have a lot of mexican friends though, but I really really enjoy Mexican boxers, they are truly the warriors of the boxing world
Caps Lock Crusader got a nice ring to it... But i prefer THE BOONDOCK SAINT after my favorite movie...
