1. Roy Jones Jr. 2. Wladimir Klitschko 3. Sergey Kovalev 4. Gennady Golovkin 5. Bernard Hopkins 6. Vitali Klitschko 7. Guillermo Rigondeaux 8. Prince Naseem Hamed 9. Manny Pacquiao 10. Floyd Mayweather Jr. I only include fighters from modern era because while there were many talented fighters previous eras had a limited talent pool seeing as Eastern Europeans and Cubans couldn't enter professional boxing. And don't even mention those black & white eras, particularly before the WW2, those fighters simply can't compare to modern athletes (thanks to huge progress of sports science) and their technique also leaves much to be desired. You don't even have enough available quality footage of those fighters to make a proper judgement. Also, I don't care that much about resume but more about what I saw in the ring ie. the real boxing skills and talents that were displayed. Those guys are the best boxers of all times POUND FOR POUND
Yes he's true p4p king. I mean, no one had literally so many pounds on his frame in history of boxing :deal
Even if you estimate that his pounds are only worth half of anybody else's, he's gotta be right up there at the top :good Also, there was a fan club of his check jab somewhere on this board. The thread is like 60 pages long :yep
All jokes aside, Dustin Nichols is a modern day Galento. In the old era he would be a legitimate contender and would drop Joe Louis even worse than he dropped Wilder, that's how bad that era was compared to today. Yet people think those old school boxers were supermen, it's ridiculous.
interesting -why is the number 2 atg in history of the world easily killed in seconds by a retired 37 year old failed fatty?
Because he fought in a competitive era against top tier fighters unlike guys like Marciano who fought boxers with journeymen records. Look at these great fighters old school ATGs were beating in their PRIME: http://boxrec.com/boxer/12207 http://boxrec.com/boxer/12213
