This is not necessarily the top ten best wins of this decade but this is the top 10 best perfomances which is based on dominance over an elite opponent. Some may recognize this thread I did from another site but I just transfered it here to see others views on it.

Guys like Hopkins, Mayweather, Pacquia have quite a few dominating performances over elite opposition but I did'nt want to use any fighter twice or the same fighter getting dominated twice like say Winky shutout victory over Trinidad when I already have Hopkins over Trinidad on the list.

Bernard Hopkins TKO 12 Felix Trinidad

Awesome list but I thought your last pick De La Hoya-Vargas could possibly be replaced cause Vargas was doing well part of that fight, therefore it wasn't dominating for Hoya from start to finish...

Remove Oscar De La Hoya vs Fernando Vargas and throw in Roy Jones Jr vs John Ruiz and you have yourself a list.

I would but Ruiz is not what I consider elite, even with Roy moving up in weight to fight him I still can't find myself to give him a spot on the list.

 It's all about Manny Pacquiao with you, PHILLA.

If you have read his post instead of immediately scanning through to see half naked pictures of your boyfriend, you'd have noticed he had strict criteria whilst composing this list. One fight for one fighter - and he picked the best of the punch in Pacquiao vs Barrera. We can agree on that, I'm sure.

well i didn't read the post i just looked at the pics

actually when I saw the title the first fight that popped into my mind was Pac vs Barrera so yea, we can agree to that.

If not for that rule 70% of the top10 would be Hopkins, Floyd, and Pac

If there is room for Jeff Lacy, there should be room for John Ruiz who, like him or not, was the champion at Heavyweight. I think considering Roy Jones was only the second Light Heavyweight in history to go up and beat a Heavyweight champion, and to do it so emphatically - it deserves a spot on the list. If not, Winky Wright vs Shane Mosley 1 is a good alternative.

Well he was the favorite going into the fight and mostly every American boxing fan, including myself thought Lacy was going to wipe the floor with Calzaghe.

Remember Selfkill I did'nt want to use the same fighter getting dominated twice either.:thumbsup

I would only credit Hatton and Barrera for Pacquiao as the others you are no doubt alluding too were either washed up or in character as a zombie extra for a Romero movie. Hopkins has an assortment of one sided beatings.
