Don't see how you can say that considering Thompson and even Brock were more competitive than Haye was. Haye belongs in the 8-10 spot if at all.

Because he would still beat them both imo. His fight against Wlad is no indication of how good he is. I think Haye would beat any fighter outside of Klitschkos today. Any.

If the fight proved something, it was the indication how good Haye actually is. And in defense of Haye he was doing pretty well until he tasted Wlad's power. Adamek fight against Vitali will prove the same, it will be the indication how good Adamek actually is.

However fighters ranking is about their resume (actually the recent resume). Adamek beat slightly better opposition than Haye in shorter time, and as long as he hasnt lost to either brother, he should be ahead of him. When Povetkin beats Chagaev and Chambets beats Thompson, both Povetkin and Chambers will be ahead of Haye too. Few good wins and Helenius is ahead of Haye too.

Chambers and Povetkin have better HW resume than both Haye and Adamek, but they were too inactive to rank them in top5 at the moment.

The problem is that he hasnt beat any top HW. You will say that Valuev was a top HW, but he really wasnt, he was more a freak of a nature or a circus showman than a top HW boxer.

Let Haye beat Chambers, Povetkin, Solis, Arreola, Thompson or even Dimitrenko to prove his ranking.

Really? Brock and Thompson got KTFO. They were certainly braver in the ring than Haye, but more competitive against Wlad...wouldn't go that far.

Agree with these points. Haye should rate somewhere in the 5-7# range, but h2h i see him as the strongest heavy besides the Klitschkos. I don't believe his performance against Wlad should hurt him much ratings-wise. He did better than expected and showed exceptional skillz....but his style was not fan-friendly.

However it's not like Haye fanboys can confidently assert Haye is the 3rd best heavy based on his resume. Haye has not fought prime ranked contenders so how he would do against them is pure speculation.

It doesn't seem objective to rate someone as raw as Helenius or Dimitrenko ahead of David Haye. I can see a case for Chambers, Adamek, Thompson, and maybe Povetkin being rated ahead...that's it really.

Haye literally did nothing. He was looking at the referee for help after getting hit with Jabs. At least Thompson and Brock tried. Haye didn't do anything but try and last the 12 rounds. Who cares if you go 12 if you literally don't do anything at all?

I don't think I've ever seen someone post a top 10 exactly the same as my one, but this could be it :good. I'm not sure about Dimitrenko, but an argument can be made for ranking him ahead of Thompson and Solis. He's only lost to Chambers

Solis definitely dropped in my ranking after the Vitali fight, but I still have Haye number 3.

Yea, **** it, that's my top 10 aswell :deal

I'd move Haye down a spot & move Adamek up a slot. Other than that, it's a good list. :thumbsup

Povetkin is undefeated but he's been too inactive lately for me to rate him above Adamek or Haye. If he beats Chagaev, especially if he beats him by lopsided decision or KO, I'd rank him above Adamek & Haye.

Brock won 1 or 2 rounds against Wlad just like Haye did & Calvin did get KTFO so I can see your point with him but Thompson actually won more rounds against Wladimir than any recent opponent. Sure he got KTFO anyway, but up to that point the cards were closer....................

What a sad bunch of heavyweights.

I can't wait until Waldo and his ***** ass gets exposed again. The guy's a disaster waiting to happen... just needs a semi-decent heavyweight to destroy him. Unfortunately, good heavyweights are about as rare as Arab democracies these days.
