you make a very good point :good allso he was either beaten or taking the distance everytime he steped up his opposition e:g sanchez, pintor but he holds the record for most consecutive ko's for any world champion in history and that cant be ignored
He stopped Zarate, which is quite a big step up in opposition. Almost taken the distance by Pintor but brutally smashed him up (stopping him) May have lost to Sanchez and Nelson via brutal stoppage, but this was a man who should've stayed at 122. At the higher weights he could never quite find himself. Gave a good account in all of his losses as far as I can see, worst performance was Win against Lockridge (which is most definitely a gift) Which I believe was at SFW, a division Gomez had no place in being at.
I like Foreman being in there.....but some see him as an accumulation hitter and just a clubber....which is wrong, although I do think Frazier walking onto his punches did make them appear more powerful. I have Foreman at 12. He was a beast, and I think a terrific puncher as well as being powerful.
Not sure if I agree with this. Benn was more versatile than McClellan IMO, who became primarily a puncher as his career progressed while Benn's skillset increased. Also, I think G-Man was just the bigger puncher in general.
