Cheers Philly, I've took out Ward and lowered Canelo.

I've got Nelson at 77 on the reconstruction (which is what I'm calling it)

I'm slightly reconsidering Maxie (not to much tbh)

I like Loughran's pfp Achievements (I obviously don't need to explain them) over his one's in a LHW list (which I still rate him very high)

I've moved Bartfield down (like 65 places down) because he might have some excellent ATG wins but he never truly bested a Greb or Maske

Thanks man! I'm still changing it up (calling it a reconstruction) but yeah I've actually dropped Canelo to High 90s and just removed both Whitaker and Chavez

    Just added Gomez at 83
    C. Ortiz at 57
And I'll end up with a spot for Saldivar as well

What do you mean you “removed” Whitaker and Chavez? They are locks for me, and on the higher end....Saldivar definitely belongs in the Sanchez ball park....Ortiz as was mentioned...I am one of Gomez’s detractors and he still clearly belongs in this list.

Lol I think you need to revise your system and solidify your criteria! You can’t just slot someone in, and have a credible list.

I would recommend revisiting your weightclasses. Evaluating how much you credit for titles, longevity, ranked opposition etc. how much you deduct for loses and to whom, does pre and post prime factor in and if so where do you define it. Are you consistent in what you rate highly and hold everyone to that same (similar) standard. How much credit is given for multiple division wins? Are abc titles equated with “one champ” and how do you balance that out in regards to defenses etc. does winning a belt or cleaning out a division matter to you and if so how much? How about guys who were top tier but never got title shots how do you fairly evaluate them?

You can’t just up and down guys based on recommendations or criticisms or you will just end up with a hodgepodge of names.

I would rather see your list in 3-6 months with your own stamp on it than this mix and match add and drop as you go. There needs to be a guiding criteria (that you set and define consistently) that drives you and your system....

By the way my questions are rhetorical and I am not expecting you to answer them, but I would encourage you to define and flesh them out on your own.

    Cheers

Do you think Foster would have destroyed Hearns.

    Yes foster would destroy Hearns

Yes Ward would beat Hearns up badly

But it does not matter for Hearns rates as greater than them both

One could nit pick but all around very good list.

Chavez too low. Tunney too high..

BTW, did you notice that one guy has victories over 3 of the top 15?

I don't think he is, but I think you could make a case for putting Ward over Hearns.

Interesting....still a little premature for me, but interesting that you think so. I like Ward but have not really given deep looks at Ward, GGG Canelo although I have been thinking about Pac, May, Wlad, Vitali.
