Hopkins did a thing of beauty against Pavlik, but Pavlik has no business at LHW. Hopkins doesn't rule a division the way Pac and others do. Klitschko is far more dominant and proven at HW than Hopkins at LHW. Hopkins can only lead that list if it is based in total career accomplishments, not who is currently the best. I am a fan of Abraham and believe he would beat Pavlik, but as long as he hasn't done that, he cannot rank ahead of Paul Williams, J.M.M. or Klitschko.

Personally I don't, but he may actually be the best fighter in the game.

Hopkins takes on all styles and either destroys or fights closely with everyone.

    Nobody takes Hopkins to school.

Bad Chad is the only man out there that has a chance from 175 down.

Predictably weak list from you. Abraham and Dawson above Marquez?? Nope.

Also, the 2 reasons you always gave for saying that Pac couldn't be number 1 were:

    - he hadn't fought any elite black or white boxers

    - he has 3 losses on his record, 2 of them from a decade ago, the last 1 was almost 4 years ago

    Hmmm.

    Bernard Hopkins...

    - hasn't fought any elite Asian or Mexican fighters

    - has 5 losses on his record, 1 of them to a journeyman over a decade ago, and his last loss was less than a year ago

Yes, your list has legitimacy and integrity in equal measure. :patsch

Why are you rating PBF. He isn't fighting.

Are you rating Mike Tyson as well.....or Lennox Lewis.....or Tommy Hearns?

    Hopkins is top 3.

No way is Pac not #1. Your excuse for not having him there, that he hasn't fought any black fighters, is laughable. Hopkins shouldn't be higher than #3 at best, personally I do have a problem putting him there because he's 3-3 in his last 6 fights, but still. Vazquez shouldn't be top 3 either.

Dawon at 4? What has he achieved, his best wins come over Glen Johnson, a past-prime Antonio Tarver and a weight drained Tomasz Adamek. He's still relatively unproven in P4P terms, and shouldn't crack a top 10 let alone top 4.

Abraham should no way be at 6. I'm a fan of AA, but he hasn't achieved anything compared to Kelly Pavlik yet, and Pavlik doesn't even appear in your top 12, so why should Abraham be at 6? Laughable frankly.

JMM should no way be as low as 7. He's probably the #2 now that Calzaghe's retired, if not certainly top 3. To have him below guys like Dawson & Abraham is hilarious.

Don't especially agree with Williams either, though to be honest it looks fine compared to some of your other choices. Don't really have major problems with numbers 9 through 12 either. Wouldn't agree with Klitschko, but it's good to see somebody rank him highly, Hatton should be in the top 8 aswell.

Same old story. Another Nallege thread, another opportunity for every man, woman and child on the forum to shake their heads at his rampant idiocy.

I don't like Darchinyan, but he has to rate top 10 on the basis that he knocked out my former #5 in Mijares, and then cemeted his place at the top of super-flyweight tree with the one-sided beating of contender Jorge Arce.

He'll soon get knocked off his perch though, as soon as he rematches Donaire or fights Montiel or anybody at 122 (Vazquez)
