    Indeed he has.
Sadly, there are a few who still cannot forgive him.

    George, are you black?

I'm detecting strong anti-white tendencies in your boxing tastes.

Lol no I'm not, I'm as white as what the milk man drops off.

I don't have anti white tastes, I don't discriminate at all. I find a few old school fighters ridiculously overrated, and over talked about. Tunney, Jeffries, Dempsey and Marciano. They happen to be white, thats not why I don't rate them like most.

Fairs; you must understand me asking since I've seen you do nothing but marginalize Marciano, ignored my compliments on Ezzard and now objecting about Tunney being a "better fighter" than Spinks (which he was.)

I didn't see you compliment Ezz tbh but he's my favourite fighter ever.
That's not what I do. I disagree w people lol.
Is he? At HW? I have Tunney above him at LHW. But how is he better at HW? And it's an opinion he's better. Spinks would beat Tunney comprehensively imo

Fam that kinda talk is gonna get you banned real fast, and trust me you'd get banned if the races were reversed as well

Ain't no racism that stays here for long. George is a gen-u-ine classic forum poster and a close friend of mine, neither would be if he was a man of racial prejudice.

Also he hates Floyd Mayweather, Jack Johnson and Deontay Wilder

Fair enough, sometimes I don't get notifications for replies either but yes, Marciano himself said Ezzard was the toughest opponent he ever faced and I believe him. His face was swollen beyond belief in their first fight, yet he soldiered on. I have nothing but respect for Charles, inside and outside of the ring.

We can all disagree, but c'mon, I haven't seen you utter a positive word about RM yet lol

As for Tunney and Spinks, again, complete different eras, different weight standards. As far as heart and courage though (which I rank as the highest trait in a fighter) I give the edge to Tunney. I know Tyson was intimidating, but Spinks damn-near soiled the canvas before the fight had even begun and that is not champion material. Buster Douglas, arguably far worse than Spinks, earned his short-lived title.

Yeah I know, Marciano really liked Ezz, they were threads after they'd fought, and he helped pay for Ezzard's treatment when he went broke.
    Want me to? Great man, great fighter. Top 10 HW, top 100 P4P staple, unbelievably consistent and dedicated (pre Charles 2), huge heart, tough as old boots, all action fighter, hardest puncher ever below 200lbs. Also I have since you joined;

Fair enough, as you said we can all disagree. But when I asked why Tunney is rated higher than Spinks is because their heavyweight careers are so short you can compare them easily, on a fight by fight basis. Imo it's clearly for Spinks as
Holmes > Dempsey in general but definitely at the time. As well Cooney (even at that time) > Tom Heeney.

Fair enough. I wasn't trying to race-bait either I was simply pointing out the 500lb elephant sitting on the couch that nobody dares mention (a disproportionate number of Marciano's critics are black and will always share a racial bias against him as a result.) I've been banned from things my whole life mate, it's called having no filter or having no tact or both.

I take your word for it.

And I hate Conor "McNugget" McGregor.

He did the same for Louis, Walcott and Vingo and this is why I hold the man in such high regard; for the qualities he showed outside of the ring as well as the fighting spirit he exalted inside of it. I feel this is even more of an achievement when you consider some of the ethically-deficient slime that the world of professional boxing attracts. But yeah, quite clearly Ezzard and Marciano brought out the best in each other.

    12. Wladimir Klitschko
    13. James J Jeffries

That's the greatness list for now. Every single time I want to move Frazier over Dempsey I remember Foreman 1&2 sadly.

I really am tempted to move Dempsey below Lewis

Wlad Sullivan and Jeffries are all kind of equal in my eyes, I split hairs between them

Tyson is just... Idk. I feel underwhelmed when I look at his talent then his resume and accomplishments? I feel like he let himself down, and that's a huge detriment to greatness in my eyes. Imo a man should do everything in his power to be great and consistency/dedication is the truest mark of greatness
